Do you charge up-front for pre-orders, or when the stuff ships?

Short answer: “When stuff ships.”
Long(er) answer: Your initial pre-order just means we’ll reserve and/or order the items for you. The charges come later, when we have the items literally in our hands and ready to pack/ship. That’s also when shipping and taxes are calculated, per shipment.

Why can I only order one pre-order at a time?

We don’t want to charge up-front for pre-orders, that’s why. Due to the web platform ToySTLKR is built upon, we had to choose between a limitless cart that you pay for immediately (sometimes a year before the toy releases), or a single-item cart that you pay for when the items are ready to ship. We put feelers out to the toy collector community and decided the latter option would make the most people happy!

Dude, what’s a Monthly Bundle?

On the first of each month, we’ll combine all of your orders that became available during the previous month and ship them together. This saves you on shipping, saves the Earth a bunch of unnecessary packaging, and gives your mailman a little break.

All you have to do is select “Add to my Monthly Bundle” under the shipping options at checkout, and we’ll take care of the rest. You will receive a reminder message a few days before shipping (around the 28th day of the month), giving you a chance to add anything else you’d like before time runs out. Then, on the 1st day of the new month, we’ll process any outstanding orders and send you a separate invoice for the exact shipping charge. Monthly bundles will ship via UPS Ground shipping, unless you email us back to request a different method.

The faster you pay the shipping invoice, the faster your stuff is on the road!

NOTE: Orders for in-stock items will still be charged immediately (minus shipping), while pre-order items will be charged when shipped.

Can I combine coupons/discounts?

Sorry, no. Only one coupon can be applied per order. This includes Stamp discounts, codes for percentage discounts, and free shipping offers. Pick whichever will save you the most, and run with it!

Where in the nine realms is my $%&*# pre-order?!

Sadly, we have no control over when the manufacturers and distributers will conspire to release their glorious merchandise to us. If a release date changes, we’ll update it on our site and send you a notice of the new date. (Sometimes this happens multiple times for a single item.)

When will my order ship?

Pre-order items ship out when we receive them from our distributor. Just note the release date on the item listing, and keep in mind that release dates change frequently. From the moment we have the item in-hand, it will only take about one day for it to be packaged up and shipped.

For in-stock items, it’s a “blink and you’ll miss it” situation. We’ll get it out pretty much immediately, and from there you just have to wait for the shipping carrier to deliver.

Is there a flat rate shipping option?

We don’t have a flat rate option at this time. But we do keep an eye on our competition’s prices and try to stay lower whenever possible. That, combined with our Stamps reward program and occasional discount codes from our YouTube affiliates, keeps the overall price of an order from ToySTLKR comparable to (or better than) other stores.

It’s a lot of math, and we’re doing our best!

Can I build a “Hill of Plunderage” and combine shipping?

Not exactly, but we do have a couple of similar options:

  2. Create a Wishlist! You can keep track of everything you want to order with a Wishlist. When a satisfactory number of your wished-for items are in-stock, you can easily move them to your cart and check out all at once.
Can I cancel an order?

Probably! For pre-orders, you can shoot us an email with our contact form and we’ll take care of it for you. The only limitation is that we can not physically cancel an order after it has been dropped off with a shipping carrier.

If you need to cancel an order you placed for in-stock items, let us know immediately because we have a very fast turnaround and you may only have a couple of hours before the shipment is dropped off with the carrier.

What the heck are “Stamps” and why should I care?

Free money? Yes, please.

Can I pay extra for “Collector’s Grade” packaging?

Nope! We try our best to make sure everyone gets a near-perfect item. If we receive items from our distributor that are dented or mangled (looking at you, FedEx…), we’ll put them in our Worse-for-Wearhouse at a discount. And if you’ve ordered from us before, you know we pack every shipment like a newborn baby — minus the air holes.

Why are there stickers or other extra goodies in my shipment?

We like to throw in a little something extra to thank our customers for giving us a try. Also, we would REALLY like you all to share your experience on social media by giving @toystlkr a shout, and we are NOT above minor bribery.

Is Toy STLKR absolutely rocking social media?

Do you have a physical store I can visit?

We wish! We do hope to have a physical store one day (and it will be SO COOL), but right now Toy STLKR is online-only.

Will ToySTLKR buy my collection?

It’s unlikely, but not impossible! If you are local to central Florida and have a bunch of toys you’re interested in selling as a lot, reach out to us in our contact form with details and we’ll let you know if we’re interested. Preferably, these would be unopened toys, but we’re always on the lookout for vintage stuff as well.
